After a successful metamorphosis of Rentoni we decided to go for the blow and give Trogid some spring aesthetic treatments. At first, as a real man, Trogid resisted all manipulations with his look, but in the end he surrendered :)
Admittedly, Trogid wasn’t as brave as Rentoni and he didn’t allow us to use tasteful purples, he preferred soft greys and blue. He stated that he was created for professionals and eccentric colours didn’t suit him... Well, we didn’t insist :)
Trogid must have liked the visual changes as he went confidently to conquer everyone’s heart, not only freelancers ...
After Trogid’s image changes a time will come to work with his interior and make him more Polish...

Jarosław Władczyk.: today we will talk about small inventions which are already famous, and have been created because necessity of moment, and have chance to revolutionize the world.

Everyone has lent or borrowed things like books, CDs sometime and probably will do it again… The problem is, that we do not get this things back very often, because the borrowers are forgetful. To prevent such situations in the future, MPlab company created a service called Rentoni, that remembers and reminds us about borrowed/lent things. Maciej Dziurla is speaking the director of MPlab.
- Maciej Dziurla: We have been thinking about it more than half a year… Is it worth to create such service… We have been looking for something similar in net and there was nothing like that for a long time… So we decided to create it. We claimed that such service will be useful for everybody, no matter where is he from Poland or America. We always consider is it a proper idea, is it worth to do it, does people need it… This service has been created because necessity of moment. We bought (the domain/field) pozyczone.pl to make it easier to use for Polish people. As I know, only one of my friends used to write down all his lent things, everybody else doesn’t/didn’t. We simply forget about these things and then they stay on somebody’s shelves.
- J.W.: All you have to do is to visit the website www.rentoni.com, create your account, define people, lent or borrowed things and suspected return date. Two days before the deadline date Rentoni will send you and a related person (if desired) email reminders.
- M.D.: Registration takes just a few seconds. We don’t collect any personal data, we just need login, password and e-mail address to send information about coming deadline date. You define people, borrowed or lent things, date of return, e-mail addresses and mobile phones – we are planning to launch SMS notification on mobile phone. Two days before the deadline date Rentoni will send you and a related person (if desired) email reminders. You define by yourself is it book, CD or DVD movie, we didn’t want to limit anybody’s invention. People are clever enough to handle it. So, you just lend or borrow things and just it.
- J.W.: Maciej Dziurla was speaking. The SMS notification is planning to be launch in the future and many other useful function making Rentoni easier to use.
Who likes taxes?... I suppose I know the answer :) but I also know something that can make your taxes easier.
PIT.pl is a Web portal created to help with taxes and has just implemented a new layout of its home page which was designed by us.
Our main goal while reorganizing the portal was to create a user-friendly website and we focused on functionality and usability of it. We hope that users will find there everything they are looking for without any problems.
In other words we did our best to transform the PIT.pl into a good-looking webside.
On Monday January 26th in Polish Radio Szczenin in broadcast “Trącić myszką” our new on-line service Rentoni was mentioned.
The author of this broadcast Mr. Jarek Dalecki talked to Mr. Maciej Dziurla - the main author of Rentoni.
- Jarek Dalecki: I was surprised by the next initiative, especially by the usability of it. How many times did we lend or borrow something and never got it back? Now we know how to help it. I have Mr. Maciej Dziurla on the phone. Welcome Maciej.
- Maciej Dziurla: Hello.
- J.D.: Maciej represents MPlab, and you are the authors of a new on-line service, which reminds everyone that he has something to give it back, is it right?
- M.D.: Exactly, maybe I begin with the genesis. As you mentioned before, people lend and borrow things and then forget who they belong to. The second inspiration was the movie “The Borrowers” based on the novel of the same title. These two things made us to create an on-line service that solves this problem. It is in english, because people on the whole world have the same, common problems.
- J.D.: In Poland, United States, United Kingdom, Africa or Australia there are common problems. Maciej, I thought that inspiration was that somebody borrowed something from you and you never got it back, what made you so angry that you decided to do something with it.
- M.D.: Yes, it happened propably thousand of times. We were looking for something like that in Internet, because we didn’t want to create something what already has been created. We have been thinking about it over a half of the year or even longer, and finally we decided to created it. We launch it one day before Christmas. We called it Rentoni and it was our Christmas gift for everyone on the world. The website is www.rentoni.com, and it’s international. Further more, it is totally for free! On this site we put most needed information – how does Rentoni work, registration form, etc. It is very easy in daily use – you just have to define people, lent or borrowed things and suspected return date. Two days before the deadline date Rentoni will send you and a related person (if desired) email reminders. System automatically checks the time zone of all users and send reminders at 6 am. We are planning to add more useful functions like reminding by text messages on mobile and more, depends what users will desire in the future.
- J.D.: I have even some more usability ideas. People often forget to take back the laundry from dry-cleaners’s, mangle, or about doctor’s appointment. With Rentoni and additional options remembering about things like that will be unnecessary to remember about it anymore.
- M.D.: Of course, we can use Rentoni for such things, but to be clear, we want concentrate on the core function – borrowed and lent things reminder. In the future, we probably integrate Rentoni with some other social network websites, like facebook. You are welcome to visit the website www.rentoni.com.

MPlab has finished a new application, created especially for companies whose terms of settlement with employees include by the hour payment.

• service companies which pay their employees by the hour – calculating the time they spend on particular projects;
• people cooperating with firms and billing them for the time units spent on the tasks;
• others, who wish to keep track of how much time is devoted to particular activities.

MPlab has just started working on a new website with Danish craft. Furniture and accessories this on-line store offers will certainly satisfy even the most picky buyers and sophisticated testes.
